2002—2006 Yemen Basic Health and Education Program (BHE)
(10 districts in Sa’ada and al–Jawf Governorates)

• Increased the capacity of the national health and education systems, met communities’ developmental needs in tribal, arid, and high–conflict regions; worked with the Ministry of Public Health and Population and the Ministry of Education to form health councils, train health workers, provide health education scholarships, and print training manuals for health and community education
